- Topic: Making jewel settings using the watchmaker lathe, clock bushing wire, and friction jewels.
- Description: The one day class for the May meeting will be “Pivot replacement for American Kitchen Clock Movement’s.” Participants should bring: An American Clock Movement, a lathe, a selection of Pivot Wire, safety Glasses, a set of drill bits and any other tools they think they may need. If Participants do not have these items they will be provided. Class begins at 10:30 AM and ends at 4:00PM. The cost is $15.00. Lunch will be provided. The last hour of the class will be set aside for “Open Bench” activities and discussions. Participants can bring any clock or watch problems they are encountering to the class and, hopefully solutions will be found.
